I was fortunate to exhibit my photo-essay on Kashmir in 2012, in Mumbai and Delhi. What fascinated me far more than the scenic extravagance of Kashmir was a peek into the daily life of its people - the floating market Subzi-wala, the Bakarwal, the Shikara-wala, the peasant who tills the floating land on the Dal Lake, the Phoolon-wala boatman, the Samovar artisan ... Ordinary lives that interweave to complete the captivating fairy-tale - Kashmir : Fiza-e-Jannat
