The Shimla chapter held its annual get together at Woodville Palace in Shimla on Sunday, 15th September 2019.  The lunch was organised by Mr Ajay Vij (OS 67) chapter coordinator.  It was attended by nearly twenty people from batches ranging from 1955 to 2009.  The Headmaster of The Lawrence School Sanawar Mr Vinay Pande, President (elect) of The Old Sanawarian Society (OSS) Maj Gen Kulpreet Singh (OS79) and Secretary OSS Mr Jaideep Singh (OS2000) made a special effort to attend as they traveled from Sanawar, New Delhi and Chandigarh respectively. Some of the senior most Old Sanawarians who graced the occasion were Mr B. S. Malhans (V 1955), Justice C. K.
Mahajan (V 1958), Mr Ajay Vij (S 1967), Lt. Gen. Mandeep Singh (S 1967), Mr Vijay Sharma (N 1971) and Mr Rakesh Singha (H 1973).  Mr Malhans presented Mr Vinay Pande a set of ten pencil sketches of various iconic buildings of Sanawar. He also gifted nearly ten large Heritage Maps of Sanawar of his unique sketches to some of the senior Old Sanawarians. The well attended function began at 11: 30 and concluded well beyond lunch. The Himachal Chapter plans to have its next Get Together after March 2020.
