OSS Annual Staff Dinner

The OSS Executive Committee hosted the Annual Staff Dinner on Feb 18, 2024 at the Glenview Resort, Kasauli. The Headmaster, Mr. Himmat S. Dhillon, the DHM, Mr. Ravi Kumar, and other Staff, along with their spouses, attended. 

One of the key highlights of the event was a Quiz, on the history of Sanawar, that enhanced the fun quotient of the evening manifold. The Quizmaster Mr. Pankaj Sapru, OSS President presented 25 questions to the staff. Although he had warned the participants that the questions framed were extremely difficult, given the fact that they were to the Staff of the School, only a handful went unanswered. Every right answer was rewarded a generous goodies gift hamper. On a few occasions when no answers were forthcoming, Mr. Pratap Bajwa, Member - OSS Executive Committee, assisted by way of dumb charade clues, that helped clinch the hamper. Among the proud winners who answered correctly more than once were Mr. R.P. Gautam, Mrs. Ashima Bath, Mr. Yogesh Vaidya, Mr. Kumar Gautam and the Headmaster, Mr. Dhillon himself. The gift hampers were sponsored by Mr. Abhishek Bajaj, O.S. H 2000, and the owner of Sindhi Sweets, Chandigarh. 

The merrymaking continued late into the evening, with the Staff devouring delectable starters, a lavish main course spread, followed by an assortment of desserts. The OSS Executive Committee members Mr. Kewal Singh Virk, H 1993 and Pratap Singh Bajwa, V 1998, along with their President, played the perfect hosts.

The Headmaster, on behalf of himself and his Team, expressed gratitude to the OSS for organising a fun-and-festive evening.
