"With a heavy heart, I convey the sad news of the passing away of our own Naveen Chouhan. He was not aware that his kidneys had been affected till very late; complications arose; None of us were aware. He passed away on the 26th of March leaving behind a wife, two daughters, and a son. He was amongst my best friends & I was in constant touch with him the last few years. So many memories to treasure. Of three years in Prep School. Of Senior School where he broke his arm on the parallel bars & how the doctors botched up the operation on his elbow. Despite that, he was a good sportsman and took part in all sports and activities. Very Jolly-natured, always out for fun, a sincere Friend. Of College in Delhi where those who did not get hostel accommodation stayed in the Riviera Apartments, the venue of so much fun & frolic. We were 9 boys in Siwalik from our batch. Vikram Kadan was the first to go. Remember that song: 9 green bottles hanging on the wall; if one green bottle were to accidentally fall, there will be ....Yesterday I turned down an empty glass in honour of my departed friend Chou. Two of the 9 green bottles gone to the happy hunting grounds. Alas." - Brig. NJS Aulakh (Butch) SBD '69
Our Heartfelt Condolences to his son Siddharth Chauhan (+91 98164 58066) and his entire family.
