“Death, a necessary end, will come when it will come”, goes the philosophical Shakespearean line, but nonetheless it is incredibly difficult to accept when it happens to someone so young.
Marzee (Subir Sharma), was by far the best all round sportsman in the batch of 1980! He was outstanding at athletics and played every game with an admirable degree of skill. A participant in several school teams, he never let defeat pull him down. It is this sporty and gamesome spirit that he retained all his life, first when afflicted with a severe heart ailment 15 years ago and then cancer more recently. Even when his successful and fast track career in the army took a hit, he stood true to his principles. He epitomised our school motto, Never Give In, more than most. Sanawar, meant a great deal to him, as he sent both his sons to the hilltop as well.
Our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Pooja, who was always with him and took such amazing care, and his devoted sons Yajur (OS 2006) and Dhanur (OS 2010). In addition to being a true friend, he truly was a loving husband and doting father. Pooja Sharma: 91 98109 69920
