We, from the Class of 65, were devastated by the passing of our beloved classmate, Amarpal. We have shared our grief on our group and our tributes have been conveyed to the bereaved family. Harminder Sawhney, Ajai Bahadur and Gyan Prakash drove to Chandigarh from Delhi to offer their condolences in person to Amar’s wife, Raj and son Jasmeet .
Amarpal was one of the most loving and caring of all of us batchmates. A true gentleman and a wonderful friend. Gentle and amiable always, he was a very gracious host and none of us could dream of passing through Chandigarh, en route to the Hilltop, without meeting him and his lovely family. Sanawar meant a great deal to him. We will miss him sorely. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Om Shanti
Chitra Gouri Lal,
For Batch of ‘65
