"Good teachers teach not just by reading out textbooks, but by lighting up imaginations.” Farewell to one such teacher. 

Both as a Hindi Teacher and Siwalik House Master, he was a truly kind, caring soul. Inspired all to do their best in academics, sports and extracurriculars. He set an example in academics by pursuing his PhD to better his career prospects many years after he came to Sanawar and later became the Principal of a leading school in Bangalore. 

Dr Gupta was a Hockey coach and directed the Hindi plays for Founders and House shows. He took the kids out to exotic locations during camps, a welcome change from Gaura and Kandaghat. 

The OSS offers its heartfelt condolences to his children Meera, Neerja and Ashok in this hour of grief and personal loss.
