With profound grief we inform you of the sad passing away of Mr Yashpal Das, Siwalik, 1953-62, this morning. Yashpal was an excellent gymnast, and a parallel bars set is named after him, simply called the Das exercise. 

The cremation took place at the Rambagh Cremation Ground, near Rotary Hospital, Ambala Cantt today at 3.30 pm.
