"As I travel down memory lane, the heart seems filled with abundant pain. With tear-filled eyes, I can recall our early years at Sanawar and of course, Neelam was a pivotal part of that beautiful journey. We started School together at a very young age and having found comfort and solace in each other's company, our bond of friendship only strengthened with time. Soft-spoken, gentle, and kind-hearted I was fortunate to have Neelam as a peer at School. As time went on we came to realise that we had many interests in common too, one of which was Music and Dance. A vivid memory of a School Play where Neelam enacted the role of Parvati with me as Shiva will forever remain close to my heart. As I pen down, cherished memories of Neelam and myself flash across...the trips to the Tuck shop, playing the Sitar together at Music classes, and much more.
Even though our dear friend has departed for her heavenly abode, she has left us enriched with some of the fondest of memories. She leaves behind her husband Rajesh and two children Raghav and Kalyani.
RIP my friend."
