Deeply saddened by the passing away of Priya Dhillon. Though it was inevitable but when it happens the loss is acutely felt.

I remember Priya with her shy smile from the time when she was interviewed as School Counsellor many years ago. She was the quintessential teacher for a co-educational school like Sanawar with its military heritage. She participated with enthusiasm in all activities and outdoors were her forte. Her students were exceedingly fond of her and many of them considered her as a role model.

Deepest Condolences to Mr Ravi Kumar and her children!

One never knows what one might discover from their next notification, and no one expected such a devastating message. The connection that I personally had with Mrs. Priya Dhillon, and I am certain that each person who knew her had one of their own, leads us to bear the pain of this tremendous loss.

She was a beautiful soul, one that each Sanawarian who had the privilege of knowing her truly understands and appreciates, let alone the fact that she was a fighter. A message is not enough to convey the sadness this news has brought to us. On behalf of the class of ‘21, I send my deepest condolences and prayers to her family. May the Almighty rest her noble soul in peace and give strength to her family and loved ones in this hour of grief🙏🏻

It was an absolute privilege and honour to have known Mrs Priya Dhillon. She was the most receptive and understanding teacher on campus. She climbed Kilimanjaro in 2019 with our batch girls. High spirited as she always was, it was a joy to see her participate in every sports activity, be it Hodsons, swimming gala, basketball….

I sincerely hope and pray all loved ones find comfort in the fact that she breathed her last at the place she loved the most - Sanawar. Sincere condolences to Mr. Ravi, Inaya and Rehan. Praying that the kids get their mom’s strength and will power.

She will always be loved and missed by her last full batch. ❤️🙏🏼
