The Old Sanawarian Fraternity the world over, condole the sad demise of one of its own. An OS who was proud to be an OS till his very last breath.
"Moving On of a dear friend
We mourn the sudden passing of Rajveer S Gulia, affectionately called "Mac", peacefully this morning. Mac was a dear friend, who I have known since 1973, as my prefect in Nilagiri House. He was a lively and energetic personality and known to reach out to all in moments of need.
He devoted a lot of his time to Sanawar, which he loved from the core of his heart. He was the OS President 2001-2003 and worked tirelessly for the School and the OS society.
He is survived by his wife Praveen, son Suvir, daughter Tarini (NGD ’07), older brothers Vijayvir (NBD ‘62), Dharamvir (NBD ’66), and sister Shakuntla (NGD ’70).
He had been bed-ridden for the last two months, courageously battling Cancer. But, being the strong-willed character he was, he continued to remain cheerful till the end, never expressing the discomfort he was going through. Rest in peace, my friend... You will be dearly missed ...." - Capt. Mohanbir Singh (NBD '81)
