Bidding adieu to dear Rakesh Passi
It's not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully! Rakesh Nath Passi passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021, at the age of 72 due to complications arising from COVID. He is survived by his wife Neelam (+91 98113 34747), who is also ailing.
Rakesh joined Sanawar in 1956 in PD. He took to the Sanawarian way of life like a fish to water and his mischievous ways and loving nature enabled him to adapt to our school.
Rakesh was a bright boy right from the Prep School days and excelled in Hindi. He loved to tell stories, sometimes farfetched which helped him to mingle easily with boys and girls in equal measure. His immaculate sense of dressing and hair style qualified him as a ladies man.
After passing out of Sanawar with flying colours he went on to complete his engineering and management studies and headed several corporate houses. Rakesh was also an educationist and conducted MBA classes in later years and enjoyed a very healthy rapport with his students.
May his gentle Soul rest in peace.
Fondly remembered by his Batchmates. Obituary
