The OSS would like to congratulate Senior Advocate, Chetan Sharma who has been appointed as Additional Solicitor General (ASG) of the Delhi High Court. 

Chetan is an OS with deep Sanawarian roots. Son of the popular Mr. Atma Ram, Nilagiri House Master and Mrs. Pushpa Sharma, Himalaya House Mistress, he was born and brought up in school itself. He was there from 1961 to 1972, first in Nilagiri and then Himalaya. 

He was the country's youngest TV sports commentator for ASIAD 82, and later became a commentator for Cricket Test Matches. He has had a good all round run having topped his university as a Graduate and Post Graduate, apart from being a keen athlete. He was amongst the younger designated Senior Advocates of the country in October 2002. He acquitted himself admirably as a consummate speaker.
